Crab cakes aren't just made from jumbo lump crab, but the menu specifies Maryland Blue crab (aawww yeah!). The crab cake entree comes in single or double, with a choice of two sides, tartar sauce and a corn muffin. Sandwich also comes with fries. Also on the menu is the mini crab cake appetizer. On the table are crackers, vinegar, cocktail and crab seasoning (house blend, not Old Bay). As always, your choice of broiled or fried.
Upon your first bite, you will exclaim "sweet Maryland crab!" as you sit in awe of what lies before you. The crab cake is mostly crab (as it should be) with a few parsley specs in there, and a tiny bit of breadcrumbs to glue it all together. Moisture level is perfect, as the cake strikes that balance between bready and saucy. Really good amount of lumps of blue crab. Don't make the same mistake I did, treat yourself and go for the double entree! Or better yet, order them online.
