On order was the Steak and Cake combo, which is a 6 oz filet served with a lump crab cake. Also available are the regular crab cakes entree, made MD Eastern Shore style with lump crab meat. There is also a crab cake sandwich, served on a roll with your choice of toppings. Entrees are served with a choice of 2 sides, and comes with tartar sauce. And if crab cakes aren't quite your taste, then they do make lots of other items with crab as well.
The crab cake has lots of Old Bay flavor, and are fairly moist, but a bit dry. The cake gives off a slight fishy scent, which may explain the amount of Old Bay. Decent amount of lump crab meat, about 60/40 lumps to shreds, with one or two jumbo lumps in there. The Old Bay is also a bit salty, so it could use a little less of that . Being Eastern Shore style, the cake is made with more breadcrumbs than usual. Because the cake comes off as a tad bit dry, it could benefit from slightly less usage of bread crumbs.
Overall, not a bad crab cake when you're in the mountains and/or you are on a college budget but still want to impress a date. While we are rating this as an average crab cake, we'll give it the higher 3.5 crabs.
